Everything you need to know about working with Simple Serve AI Consulting.

If AI touches client data, makes recommendations, or influences business decisions, you should review both your governance controls and relevant insurance policies. Coverage varies by policy, endorsement, facts, and jurisdiction. An appropriately licensed insurance professional can explain how your specific policy may respond.
SSAI combines business improvement with protection. We help businesses deploy practical AI, build governance and policies, train teams, and prepare stronger documentation for future insurance-readiness and coverage conversations. We are vendor neutral and focused on practical implementation.
Not at all. We are built for business owners, not developers. You tell us what your business does and what problems you are trying to solve. We handle everything technical. If you cannot explain what we built to your team in plain English, we have not done our job.
We focus on small businesses and growing organizations across professional services, HR and recruiting, marketing and creative, retail, real estate, logistics, and other operationally intensive sectors. Our process is designed to be practical for lean teams.
AI governance is the practical system a business uses to decide which AI tools are approved, what data may be entered, where human review is required, who owns each use case, and how problems are reported. For a small business, it can begin with an AI-use inventory, a written policy, assigned ownership, and a simple review process.
A written AI policy is useful when employees use ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, AI features inside business software, or automated workflows. The policy should explain approved tools, prohibited information, required human review, acceptable uses, vendor approval, and incident reporting.
Employees should not enter confidential, personal, regulated, or contract-restricted information into an AI tool unless the organization has approved that tool and use case after reviewing its settings, agreement, retention practices, access controls, and applicable obligations. A clear policy should define what information is prohibited.
Review user permissions, document access, data classification, sharing settings, retention, approved use cases, human-review requirements, and employee guidance. Copilot can surface information a user already has permission to access, so permission hygiene and data organization are important before deployment.
An AI risk assessment typically inventories tools and use cases, identifies the data involved, reviews vendor and access controls, evaluates accuracy and human oversight, checks employee practices, and prioritizes privacy, security, operational, contractual, and compliance gaps. The result should be a practical action plan rather than a generic report.
The SSAI Trust Score is our proprietary 300–850 AI trust rating across seven dimensions: Data Security, Human Oversight, Compliance, Transparency, Incident Response, Vendor Management, and Staff Training. Each dimension is scored against a fixed rubric so the same inputs produce the same score. It provides a consistent view of strengths, gaps, and remediation priorities. Trust Score methodology is informed by NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001 principles. It is a proprietary assessment, not a third-party certification.
Choose AI Deployment when you want to automate or implement AI, AI Governance & Risk when you need policies and controls, and AI Training when your team needs practical guidance. If governance is the concern, the Verified Trust Score is the recommended starting point; the free Trust Score is a quick preview.
Yes. The free SSAI Trust Score gives you a quick preliminary preview on a 300 to 850 scale. For governance work, the Verified Trust Score is the recommended full review because it examines your tools, data, vendors, controls, and authorized evidence before we build a prioritized roadmap.
We are completely vendor neutral. We have no partnerships with any AI tool vendors and earn no commissions from software recommendations. We evaluate the full landscape of tools and recommend only what fits your specific business, workflow, team size, and budget. Our only incentive is your success.
Insurance policy language continues to evolve as businesses adopt AI. Some policies may contain exclusions, limitations, or definitions that affect technology-related claims, while others may respond differently. Review the actual policy and endorsements with an appropriately licensed insurance professional rather than assuming that AI-related activity is either covered or excluded.
We help organize your AI use cases, governance controls, vendor information, and coverage questions. When licensed insurance advice is needed, work with an appropriately licensed insurance professional. That professional and the carrier determine availability, terms, pricing, and any compensation disclosures.
The SSAI Trust Score is an internal governance-readiness assessment. It can help organize documentation and identify gaps before an insurance conversation, but it does not determine carrier eligibility, coverage, premiums, or claims outcomes.
Timing depends on the service, scope, access, and client response time. After we understand what you need, we provide a clear delivery plan and timeline. Any insurance review or transaction timeline is separate and should be confirmed with the appropriately licensed professional involved.
